Positve Behavior Support
Positive Behavior Support

Ryan Elementary is now a PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and  Supports) School. This is a program that creates safer and more effective schools. It focuses on improving a school’s ability to teach and support positive behavior for all students. School wide rules and expectations have been established for all students, all staff, and in all settings. Awards and incentives have been put into place, including specified free dress days and classroom treasure chests for students that exemplify appropriate behavior. We believe students who behave appropriately perform better academically. Thanks to our PBS team for all of their hard work and support.

Ryan's PBIS Gift Shop

PBIS rules and expectations are in full effect at Ryan.  A gift shop for students receiving Obama Money has opened.  Obama Money is given to students following PBIS rules and expectations, and students are able to spend the money in the gift shop and specific school functions.  Our students are excited about the positive changes PBIS has brought to Ryan!
